Clarion promotes Casey Thevenot, MPH, and Martin Strebl-Bantillo, PhD, to Manager. Both Casey and Martin have made substantial contributions over the past 4 years, including applying their deep knowledge and experience within Clarion’s client work and making a meaningful impact on the development of the firm through multiple internal initiatives.

Casey specializes in helping clients develop comprehensive brand/therapeutic area strategies, as well as to design and operationalize solutions that advance their overall vision. Internally, she led the Clarion re-branding effort and website overhaul and continues to contribute to marketing initiatives. She also supported recruiting at Yale, her alma mater. Prior to joining Clarion, Casey worked as federal lobbyist at Akin Gump representing a broad range of healthcare clients, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, during ACA implementation. She also held a position in corporate strategy and government relations at CVS Health. Casey received an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Yale University and a BS in Public Health from the University of Georgia.

Martin uses his expertise in primary market research and strategy development to support new product commercialization across a range of therapeutic areas, with a focus on oncology and transplant care. Internally, he has spearheaded initiatives with our DEI committee to support the LGBTQ+ community, provides reading and resource recommendations as a member of our internal library team, and is on the planning team for PROPEL, our advanced degree leadership training event. Martin completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuroimaging at MGH/Harvard Medical School, and his research focused on chemical methodology of introducing radioactive labels into small molecules, and the applications of his technology in PET-based visualization of epigenetic enzymes in the living brain. Martin received a PhD in Chemistry & Chemical Biology from Harvard University, and a BSc in Chemistry and Biochemistry from LMU Munich.
